Our Junior Academy (born between 2016 and 2019) and club Senior Development Academy (born 2015) train at Kilbogget Park every Saturday morning. We start at 9.45 am. and finish around 11.15 am. guaranteeing a fun-filled safe environment with our fully qualified and Garda-vetted coaches.

Our Junior Academy is an excellent introduction for beginners, and we encourage parents to bring down their 4 year olds (born 2018) as we like to get them involved too! We now have a vibrant Boys group (dob 2015-18) who train at the same time, and it is hoped to shortly field a Go Games under 8 boys’ team. The Senior Academy prepares the girls over a 12 month period for semi-competitive football which now begins at the under 8 age level. Girls in this group will play mini-blitzes and friendlies, and when there are no games scheduled on the Saturday they instead train down at the park.

Please remember to register inside the clubhouse at 9.40 am. before coming out onto the field; each age group is designated a different colour bib, from blues through to greens. We aim to start each session at 10 am. sharp.

Don't forget your bottle of water/soft drink, and a 2 euro training fee. From February to April please dress up warm with hat and gloves as it is still quite cold. Each week you'll find information and updates about the Academy in our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/gaelicacademy), as throughout the year we shall be running different types of events and training sessions. May I also remind you that you are most welcome to get involved and help each Saturday, as we are always on the lookout for new parents to join our Academy team.
