Foxrock Cabinteely GAA club is Ireland’s only all-female football club.

We are members of the LGFA, focusing on Gaelic football and welcome girls and women of all ages to get involved in the sport.

We have over 750 members including players and families with Senior, Junior, Minor, Under-16 to Under -8 teams and a social Gaelic4Mothers & Others Team. 

We have a vibrant academy where girls aged 4-9 years learn fundamental movement skills and make friends in a relaxed, safe environment.

Though only a relatively young club, celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2025, Foxrock Cabinteely is reputed for it’s major successes and being exemplars of club Ladies Gaelic Football in the country, achievements include; 

• 8 Dublin Senior Club Championship 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.

• 6 Leinster Club Championship titles back to back from 2015-2020.

• 3 Cup and 3 League titles.

• All Ireland Ladies Club Football Championship runners up 2016 and 2018.

We have a strong pedigree of players representing our club at County level as well as internationally and are role models to the girls in the club look up to.

Foxrock Cabinteely GAA was founded in 2005 when Foxrock Ladies Gaelic club amalgamated with Cabinteely Ladies GAA to become Foxrock Cabinteely GAA Club. As the club continued to grow we moved to a shared Clubhouse in Kilbogget Park which is our homeground, as well as playing in Ticknick Park and Beckett Park in Cherrywood.

Players come mainly from the areas of Foxrock, Cabinteely, Ballybrack, Loughlinstown, Shankill and Cherrywood, having typically gone to local National schools St Patrick's, Hollypark, St Brigid’s Cabinteely, Our Lady of Good Counsel (Johnstown Girls) and St Anne's in Shankill. However we welcome players of all ages from all areas in our locality.
