Communication to Parents

Communication will be via text messages and notes at training. The management would ask that you provide us with all your contact details phone number and email address so that we can make sure that you receive all communications that are sent out.

Child Protection & Codes of Conduct

The Club has a Child Protection Policy. The Club also operates a Code of Behaviour for Coaches, Mentors and Trainers, as well as Codes for Young Players, Parents & Guardians. These are all available upon request from the Club. For further information, please see the policies section of this website.

Parents Representative

As a group of mentors we try to ensure that we treat all players and parents with respect and dignity at all times. We hope that there never was or never will be a case where either a player or parent feel that they might not been treated correctly. You may feel uncomfortable addressing the issue with the individual mentor. The team management have appointed a Parents Representative / Liaison Offer for this panel. If you have an issue with how you are being treated and don’t want to address the issue with the mentors directly, you can contact the Parents Representative / Liaison Offer and this person would then address the issue you have.

Carol Dillon has agreed to fill this role for the coming year.

Help Needed

We are always on the lookout for parents to help out, especially on match day to set up the pitches i.e. put up the goals, nets and flags and take them down again after the game. Please let one of the management team know if you are available.

Club Gear

Jerseys for matches will be provided by the Club on match day. We would encourage each player however, for the purposes of team presentation at matches, to have both a pair of club shorts and club socks. These are available from the Club and are typically available at the Clubhouse each Saturday morning. Please note also that Foxrock/Cabinteely GAA Hoodies and other club gear are also made available and are very popular. Please let one of the team management know of your interest.
